We are a small family kennel located on the island of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands. Bull terriers have been a part of our lives since 1987 when we purchased our first bullie. In 1994 due to family commitments we were forced to limit our efforts with the bullies to simply owning a dog or two. In 2005 our family situation stabilized thus allowing us to put time and full energy back into the dogs. We immediately put all our efforts into attempting to obtain quality bloodlines from the United Kingdom to use in our anticipated breeding program. The primary goal of this program is to establish a genetic pool in the islands that will be able to produce quality dogs. Bullies at that time had become a rarity in the islands with limited bloodlines available. Our first import was a female from UKUSA kennels (Bunny). Andrea taught us a lot about the bullies in the UK and the procedures used in importing dogs to Hawaii. Their great yearbooks gave us a chance to learn more about the modern bloodlines and open new avenues for our search. During our further searching we were very fortunate to make friends with Russ and Doreen Lamonby of Emred kennels. We decided then that the Emred bloodlines would be used as the primary base of our breeding projections along with other quality bloodlines added as needed. Russ and Doreen through their generosity and willingness to help allowed us to obtain a couple of excellent bred dogs from their kennels (Thomas and Dee Dee). We were next introduced to Steve Walker of Astasia kennels by Doreen. From Steve we imported another dog based on the Emred bloodlines (Maddie). Our females are young so our project is still in it's early stages. Our plans are to add another quality female or two and utilize the great availabilty of frozen semen from various proven stud dogs. Only time will tell if all our efforts are to be rewarded
